QNAP NAS Setup Guide

Step 1

Get OpenVPN Config file and credentials (requires a pro account).

Step 2

Open the QNAP web QUI, go to the "App Center" and search for "QVPN Service" and install the app

Step 3

Open the QVPN Service app and click "VPN Client"

Step 4

Click "Add" at the top:

Step 5

Choose "OpenVPN" and import the .ovpn config file from Step 1

Step 6

Fill out the fields as follows:

Username: Username from Step 1. This will be different from your Windscribe username.

Password: Password from Step 1. This will be different from your Windscribe password.

Check all 3 boxes and click Apply:

Click the "Connect" button

Step 8

It should say "Connected" if the connection was successful.
