Once upon a time in 2016, armed with nothing but a dream, we set out to do the impossible: build a VPN that wasn’t terrible.
We weren’t funded by Silicon Valley, nor did we have a cool-sounding startup name like "SynergoNetIQ". What we did have was a singular mission:
Protect your entire ass on the internet.
Not just the cheek. Not just the meat. The whole damn hole.
Look At Us Now, Mom
Nine years have passed. That's a lot of hours logged online. And while we still make questionable life choices, a few things have changed.
We’ve matured — somewhat.
We no longer sob uncontrollably to Filipino Big Brother (just a soft sniffle now).
Gummy bears are no longer our main food group.
We say things like “bruh” and “no cap” with reckless abandon.
And best of all: we’ve reached nearly 90 million users worldwide.
That’s 90 million people who decided not to sell their browsing data for a 10% off coupon.
Our antics may be unhinged, but our mission is as serious as ever:
Protect privacy. Bypass censorship. Give Big Brother the middle finger.

We Couldn't Have Done It Without You (Seriously)
This whole thing only works because of you — yes, you reading this while avoiding doing your actual job.
Thank you for trusting us.
Thank you for not believing in borders on the internet.
Thank you for being part of this beautifully weird ride.
Here’s to 9 more years of breaking censorship, eating questionable candy, and fighting for internet freedom.
Love,
Team Windscribe
